What's Included

Requirements

  • 1 Laptop/computer (Windows or Mac) recommended specs:
    • An i5 processor
    • 4GB of RAM
    • Ethernet port or Ethernet adapter
    • 5GB of storage space (per game)
  • 2 iOS devices on iOS 10.0 or newer
  • Power source

Step By Step

  1. Plug the GameStrat Router’s black power block into a power source.
  2. Plug the red ethernet cable into the POE port of the black power block.
  3. Plug the other end of the red ethernet into the MAIN port on the GameStrat Router.
  4. Mount the GameStrat router using either the window mount or the velcro straps. Make sure it is facing and that there is a direct line of sight towards your sideline devices. To have a strong and reliable signal, there shouldn’t be any obstructions or obstacles in the router’s line of sight (no metal walls, poles or fans in the way).
  1. First make sure you have logged in on all devices with an Internet connection.
  2. Then you’ll need to connect to the GameStrat Wi-Fi network.
  3. Complete the GS Basketball device setup by selecting “Make this device the server”.
  4. Your devices should now all be connected.
  1. From the game lobby on your iOS recording device, you will need to tap the camera icon to become the camera operator.
  2. All other devices will choose to enter the Live Game.
  3. You are now set up and ready to begin.

  • 1 Existing camera or 1 iOS device (iOS 10.0 or newer)

Step By Step

  1. Plug the GameStrat Router’s black power block into a power source.

  1. Set up the capture device by plugging an HDMI cord from one end and into your camera. Then, use the blue USB to plug from the capture device into your laptop.
  2. In the GS Basketball application on your laptop, you will select the video feed from your camera.
  3. All of the recording will be controlled from the press box laptop.
