Step By Step

1. Setup Router

2. Connect Devices

3. Record

  1. Plug the GameStrat Router’s black power block into a power source.
  2. Plug the red ethernet cable into the POE port of the black power block.
  3. Plug the other end of the red ethernet into the MAIN port on the GameStrat Router.
  4. Mount the GameStrat router using either the window mount or the velcro straps. Make sure it is facing and that there is a direct line of sight towards your sideline devices. To have a strong and reliable signal, there shouldn’t be any obstructions or obstacles in the router’s line of sight (no metal walls, poles or fans in the way).

  1. First make sure you have logged in on all devices with an Internet connection.
  2. Then you’ll need to connect to the GameStrat Wi-Fi network.
  3. Complete the GS Football device setup by selecting “Make this device the server”.
  4. Your devices should now all be connected.
Connect
  1. From the game lobby on your iOS recording device, you will need to tap the camera icon to become the camera operator.
  2. All other devices will choose to enter the Live Game.
  3. You are now set up and ready to begin.

  1. Set up the capture device by plugging an HDMI cord from one end and into your camera. Then, use the blue USB to plug from the capture device into your laptop.
  2. In the GS Football application on your laptop, you will select the video feed from your camera.
  3. All of the recording will be controlled from the press box laptop.

  2. Plug the red ethernet cable into the POE port of the black power block.

  5. Mount the GameStrat Bridge and face it towards your end zone camera, where your End Zone Station is located.
  6. Mount the End Zone Station facing towards the Press Box Bridge.

  1. First make sure you have logged in on all devices with an Internet connection.
  2. Then you’ll need to connect to the GameStrat Wi-Fi network.
  3. For your laptop that’s in the press box, Complete the GS Football device setup by selecting “Make this device the server” and also “Use camera on this device”
  4. For the end zone laptop, you won’t need to connect to any wireless network, but you will need to connect the black ethernet cable from the End Zone Station’s LAN Port directly into your laptop’s ethernet port.
  5. For your end zone laptop device setup, you will only select “Use camera on this device”, which will make it the second angle.
  6. Your devices should now all be connected.
Connect
  1. Set up the capture devices by plugging an HDMI cord from one end and into your cameras. Then, use the blue USB to plug from the capture device into your laptops.
  2. In the GS Football application on your laptops, you will select the video feed from your cameras.
  3. All of the recording will be controlled from the press box laptop. Whenever you begin recording, it will instantly begin recording on the end zone laptop, syncing and intercutting both angles.

Press Box Router

This router creates a private network for all of your devices to connect to and eliminates the need for an Internet connection. This secure, 5GHz network is what allows for instant video transfer down to the sidelines or anywhere in the stadium.

Mount Kit

This mount allows you to mount the GameStrat router to a window.

Capture device

Capture Device

This capture device takes an HDMI video input and automatically feeds it into the GameStrat desktop application.

Bridge

Press Box Bridge

The Press Box Bridge connects via Ethernet to the GameStrat Router and faces towards the End Zone camera, creating a bridge connection with the End Zone Station.

End Zone Station

The End Zone Station connects to the laptop in the End Zone via Ethernet, while also creating a connection with the Press Box Bridge. The End Zone Station needs to face towards the press box in the direction of the Press Box Bridge.
