About the Role
We’re looking for somebody who is passionate about sports that wants to join one of the fastest growing startups in Ottawa. GameStrat has emerged as a blue-chip company in the sports coaching software industry, combining innovative and easy to use technology to help coaches win more games.
We're looking to bring on our first ever full-time marketing team member to help take our company to the next level. This is a full-stack marketing role where the person will help coordinate and be involved in all marketing efforts within the business. This is not a paid ads–only position. You will work across content, campaigns, social, email, landing pages, and analytics.
The perfect candidate for this role is somebody who ideally has up to 2 years experience in marketing, SaaS, or a startup environment, but strong entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Somebody who is willing to get their hands dirty and build marketing processes and functions from the ground up. This Marketing Coordinator role has plenty of room for growth as GameStrat grows.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the majority of the growth marketing activities
- Develop and manage complex, multi-region, multi-product, multi channel marketing campaigns to grow the business, driving leads for the sales team and ultimately helping increase revenue
- Managing and creating strategy across all social media channels (X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Brand building and management
- Helping with marketing activities for trade shows, conferences, and partner events.
- Managing all stages of content production from planning to publishing
- Implementing and managing SEO strategies to increase organic web traffic
- Monitoring the performance and analytics of our content at each stage of the marketing funnel
- Create a range of different content types such as blogs, emails, ad copy, case studies, social posts etc.
