The off-season is in full swing as teams make improvements in preparation for spring & fall seasons, and the GameStrat team is no exception! We have been working tirelessly these last couple months to ensure all GameStrat users are getting the absolute best sideline replay product possible on Friday nights this upcoming season.

Pittsburgh's Central Catholic High School is a preparatory school with a very rich history in the state of Pennsylvania. After another successful season under Head Coach Ryan Lehmeier, finishing 1st in the WPIAL Conference with a 10-2 overall and 5-0 conference record, we decided to sit down with Coach Lehmeier and reflect on his experience using GameStrat over the last 3 seasons.

Over the last couple months we've seen the rise in talks of NCAA football changing the rules & finally allowing teams to use sideline tablet technology like they do in US high school football and the NFL. GameStrat is the market leader when it comes to sideline tablet technology and we've been at the forefront of things throughout this 2024 off season. Plenty of football programs across college football are already utilizing and leveraging GameStrat's technology during their spring practices and scrimmages in preparation for the new upcoming changes. We have also been talking to numerous conference staff all throughout every division, and as a result we decided to create this blog to help educate coaches and any staff throughout all conferences on the latest news and developments that we are aware of.

The adoption of sideline replay tablets & headset communication in NCAA college football is quickly approaching us, with new developments being made what seems like by the day. The NCAA allowed the use of sideline replay tablets for all non-CFP bowl games this past season & the benefits were clear.

Cincinnati’s very own Steve Specht, head football coach at St. Xavier High School, is a legend in the state of Ohio. Coach Specht began as the head coach of the Bombers varsity football team in 2003. In that span, Coach Specht has led his team to a 180-74 record, won four Ohio big school championships (2005, 2007, 2016, 2020), earning Ohio Division I Coach of the Year honors in 2005 and 2007, as well as receiving the NFL Don Shula High School Coach of the Year Award in 2013.

Rolling into the 2024 season, college football may be on the verge of allowing sideline replay technology for the first time in its history.

Going into the 2024 season, GameStrat's Premium 2 angle package will no longer require an end zone computer/laptop for coaches to run the system.
