United Athletic Conference Extends GameStrat Partnership Through 2030

The United Athletic (UNISUN) Football Conference has extended its partnership with GameStrat through 2030. GameStrat will remain the exclusive provider of sideline replay technology for all eight UAC Sports football programs.

The United Athletic Conference first partnered with GameStrat in 2024, the first season the NCAA allowed coaches to use tablets on the sideline. After two seasons, the conference committed to five more years.

“Sideline replay is now part of how our teams compete. A coach can see the play again while the drive is still live and fix what is broken before it costs them a game. Extending with GameStrat through 2030 means our football programs have the same reliable setup every week, and that consistency is worth a lot in a league where the champion earns an automatic bid.”

What The Agreement Covers

Through 2030, GameStrat will continue to equip every UAC program with:

  • Live multi-angle replay on iPads, available on the sideline and in the press box as each play ends.
  • A private wireless network built to hold up under full stadium load.
  • On-call support on game days.
The UAC put replay in coaches' hands in 2024, before most of college football had worked out what tablets could do. They have held us to a high standard since. What matters is the 20 seconds after a play ends. The video is there, it works, and the coach makes the call. Five more years with this league tells us we are getting that part right.Tunch Akkaya, CEO at GameStrat

About the United Athletic Football Conference

The United Athletic Conference began as a football partnership between the ASUN Conference and the Western Athletic Conference in 2021, then launched as a football-only league under the UAC name in 2023.

On July 1, 2026, the WAC rebranded as the United Athletic Conference and became a multi-sport league sponsoring 16 sports. The UAC and the ASUN also launched Unisun Sports, a joint venture that provides shared services and administrative support to both leagues. The two conferences remain independent, each with its own automatic qualifier for postseason play.

For the 2026 football season the UAC fields eight programs across seven states, playing a seven-game round-robin conference schedule with an automatic bid to the FCS playoffs on the line:

The United Athletic Conference is the second conference in 2026 to extend with GameStrat for 5 more seasons.
